Overview
This Photek Shoe Mount Umbrella Adapter SMA-1000 fits onto almost any light stand. It has a swivel, an umbrella socket with a tightening screw, and a shoe mount for almost any shoe mount flash. Use it to aim your shoe mount flash. Add your umbrella and create a softer, more pleasant portrait light.
Able to tilt 180 degrees and swivel 360 degrees, the anodized black aluminum Umbrella Mount can be installed on any industry-standard light stand with a 5/8″ top stud from either end of the mount. Additional 5/8″ holes are tapped into to unit to allow you to mount it vertically or horizontally for maximum versatility. The Deluxe Umbrella Mount includes removable 3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20 brass stud adapters to support accessories. One of them, for example, fastens a cold shoe with a knurled locking knob for a secure connection to your flash.

Available in three appropriate sizes: 36, 46, and 60 inches. With its reflective surface, free of bleaches and fluorescence, it perfectly reflects the color of your light.
Its unique construction of 10 panels instead of the usual 8 gives more reflective surface and a more perfect circle of light, so flattering in the catch light in the eyes.
The black cover is removable, so you can shoot through and get a soft diffused light.
